how well the group managed time: ella spruce
Our group tried to manage time as well as we could. We made a very specific filming schedule and planned it on a day that had good weather and no rain. we managed to almost completely stick to our schedule but we were stuck with what to do when the historians we were interviewing and the Farnham history museum didn't show up at our arranged and scheduled time. Although we were rather annoyed we carried on as normal, and rearranged the interview for the week after our filming day. We found it to be quite selfish of the interviewees to not show up after having organized the meeting a week ago. waiting a week to get the footage of them gave us a shortage of time to get the editing done. Over all we didn't manage our time as well as we could have and we should try harder to manage our time well next time.
How well the group managed people: ella spruce
whilst filming our documentary we had to deal with all sorts of people. We had to deal with people walking into our shots whilst we were filming on the street by letting them pass if they wanted to and not getting agitated by them.We also had to deal with the stress of finding out that the people we needed to interview had not shown up, we just politely asked if we could call them and ask for another date. We had to make sure we were very calm and not rude. We also had to finally interview the people at the history museum in Farnham, and i wasn't there to help. We then ended up getting very quiet footage of them speaking, due to Ryan not wanting to be rude and tell them to speak louder. He should have politely asked them to speak louder after doing a sound check. This is what i will do next time if there is a next time. Filming for the whole day meant we were going to all be spending a lot of time together, and making a lot of fast decisions that all needed to be agreed on. This was difficult as a lot of the filming went sketchy, and the interviewees didn't show up, but we managed to stay calm and collected and allowed ourselves an hour and a half break to make sure we were relaxed and able to carry on as normal. Over all we managed people during our filming well and had a good time doing it!
We struggled a bit during the production work and editing with sharing the work out and getting it finished. we experienced some technical difficulties with the mac which made it a struggle to finish the editing that was due in that week, but we managed to get through it using planning and breaks in between.

Organizing ourselves; Harry Chipman
The filming of this production was a shambles, to say the least. We organised an interview with the curators of Farnham Museum and there were multiple occasions of mis-communications between ourselves and the museum. This resulted in us turning up for our interview, only to be told that the other party thought it was at a different time. This resulted in extortionate levels of frustration for us. We eventually got around to finishing the filming and got most of the editing done, but this still has yet to be finished as it has been deleted multiple times by faulty software.
We only occasionally managed to all film together with the 3 of us, because we regularly had conflicting schedules, and as such had to film bits in pairs more often than not.
Currently, we are struggling terribly to organize ourselves because we have no motivation to finish the editing of our documentary

Ryan - Health and Safety
We were conscious on filming on location, so we had to be extra careful when doing the interviews. Not just our safety but also the interviewees
Cables needed to be in sight so easy to spot and tucked away so there was no risk of tripping over.
When filming out on the street we needed to be aware of pedestrians and not get in the way of them, or them tripping over the tripod legs or when carrying the big camera or the bag to be aware to knock any one over with them.

Ryan - How the group Managed Problems
Our group consisted of three people, many problems arose like lack of attendance from two members or poor time keeping that wasn't always our fault.
Arranging interviews has been a nightmare with lack of communication between not only the group members but between us and the interviewees. Arranging for an interview for a specific time and date to then turn and be told that the museum hasn't informed the interviewees yet.
Calling up the historians personally to the arrange a mutual agreement on the time and date.
Again we were let down as timings and dates have been crossed meaning we have had to reschedule for the next, leaving us next to no time to polish off our documentary.
We didn't waste this time so we went out and gathered a few more shots of the farnham and made sure we got all the relevant stuff we needed.
The interview this week went well but not with out failure on the equipments behalf as all the tripods that were fit to use were out. We just took the camera and improvised with using book stacks and then getting shots to make it look like you were walking down the streets of farnham.
Editing has gone south, we are no where near completing the documentary for the deadline.
This issue has yet to be resolved.
